The amendment bill called The Criminal Law Amendment bill, 2018 seeks to change “men” to “whoever”, to make it inclusive of all the genders regardless of who they are, simultaneously the provisions that deal with stalking, voyeurism, sexual harassment at work place, , etc.

The bill also called for adding the word modesty in the existing law. The copy of the Amendment bill regarding modesty reads, “ Modesty is an attribute which attaches to the personality with regard to community held belief of morality, decency, and integrity of speech and behaviour, in any man, women or transgender.’’
